Despite Boxycharm having issues due to Hurricane Irma (their headquarters is located near Miami, but the warehouse is in Massachusetts), they were still able to ship out the boxes. I wouldn't have minded not getting this month's box because it's more important that everyone stayed safe when the storms hit. However, I did notice some charmers get their boxes, and I didn't get an shipping notification in the email. No tracking, nothing. When I checked my mailbox though, there it was! There have also been issues with the Postal Services due to the hurricane.
The theme this month is BoxyBaddie. Instead of the usual 5 products they give out every month, they decided to give 6! They are already the most generous subscription box I have ever tried, with sending out $100+ worth of items for $21/month (mostly makeup too, a lot of other boxes I've tried tend to focus more on skincare).
If you look closely, you can see that there is an indentation in the middle of the brush. That is the resevoir where you are supposed to pour the foundation into, and buff it in circular motions. I haven't tried this yet, but it's a unique concept. The brush feels high-quality too.
ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in "Mess Around"
I was SO excited when I found out that we would be getting one of the ColourPop Ultra Satin lipsticks (which I like a lot better than the Ultra Mattes) until I got this shade. It's a medium brownish greige. It looks like an even more muted version of the ColourPop Ultra Matte lip in "Beeper" which I received in the July Box.
Briogeo "Don't Despair, Repair!" Deep Conditioning Mask
I normally don't like getting hair products, but my dry, fine hair could use some extra TLC right now. I am in dire need of a haircut anyway to get rid of my split ends. I will test this out and let you guys know how it works with my hair!
Studio Makeup Loose Blush
This is pretty interesting. I don't use loose blush and I don't know anyone who has due to the hassle (but I know BareMinerals makes some really pretty shades of them). I will at least try it, especially because it's a flattering peachy pink.
This is the first MAC product I ever received in the subscription box. It was only this year when they started branching out to Ulta and various subscription boxes. I'm glad that they gave me this shade instead of the other shade for those with blonde hair. It's retractable, and I like using it to outline my natural brow shape and add a few brow hair strokes. I will be rotating this and my beloved Benefit, Precisely My Brow pencil. However, I really want to empty out the Benefit one more!

Last but not least is this little gem right here. Boxycharm always gives out full-sized eyeshadow palette, but I would say that this is the best palette I have ever received from them. The first 2 rows are mattes, and the bottom is full of shimmer. Each and every shade is insanely pigmented, with no fallout with my fingers (but a little fallout when swirled with the brush). Wow. I love this palette. This also could be added to my list of dupes for the Naked Heat dupes. This is a gorgeous fall palette. I've used it a few times and I'm in love.
I wouldn't say that this is my favorite Boxycharm this month, but I really, really love the palette. I am also looking forward to next month's box (I love looking at the spoilers from My Subscription Addiction) because we will be getting either the liquid or the powder version of the BECCA highlighter in "Prosecco Pop". I'm not looking forward to getting one of the Tarte Quick Matte Dry Lip Paints (I bought one of them and had to return because it was too drying).
