Chypre Sublime by Floral Street (sample)

A herbal floral infusion that is very, how does one put it ... mature. Not in a fuddy-duddy pretentious or ostentatious way but in a sophisticated way that doesn't necessarily denote having to be in charge of everything and knowing what's what, but allowing oneself to transform over the years into the best version of oneself.
Chypre Sublime is the type of person we all would like to end up being. The person who has gone through life barely scathed by its harshness.  A free spirit that doesn't complain about how good the past was but embraces the present and looks forward to the future. The type of person who won't snicker when you get something wrong or force your hand to do their will. If "free love" was bottled up and allowed to mature to a state where it wasn't reckless, self-serving, or naive enough to think it could change all from internal dreaming - then this would be that scent.

Chypre Sublime wears no rose-tinted glasses but emits the warm rays of accepting that what is. This fragrance is not going to tell you what to wear, or if he's Mr. Right, or if you should chuck out the 9 to 9 grind ... but, you may find yourself feeling more relaxed to do what you want to do for once in your life. Yep, if the hippie spirit had its own bottle of perfume this would be it.

Notes: Incense, Pink Pepper, Wild geranium, Damask Rose Absolute, Midnight Violets, Patchouli, Labdanum, Benzoin, Olibanum.

Notes I SmeltPepper, Citrus & Green notes - which are about right. There's a smokiness to it so I understand why the creators' dubb it a "sultry scent" and best with "a little black dress", I can totally see how that would fit but, I also could see this as a nice candle/room fragrance, and more mesmerising on a man on a date than myself.

I either received this as a free gift on an order I made or in-store (can't remember). Floral Street makes a range of fragrances and their vegan. I like this fragrance, and who knows when my sample ends,  I just might miss enough to actually buy it. This is a great scent for winter as it feels cosy and comforting.
